The IB Diploma Programme was authorized in 2000. The IB Diploma is for academically motivated 11th and 12th grade students. Over the course of two years, students will take six IB subject courses and the Theory of Knowledge course, will write the Extended Essay, and will complete the CAS requirement (Community, Action, Service). The IB Career Programme is the newest IB offering for AC Flora High School. The IBCP was authorized in 2014 and will begin for the 2015-2016 school year. The IBCP is for 11th and 12th grade students who wish to pursue IB coursework while also pursuing career study. Students will take two IB courses and the Approaches to Learning course, and will complete a Reflective Project, Language Portfolio, and Community and Service.
